Information Technology Specialist

Role Requirements

Support our organization by ensuring users can access and use computer networks throughout the workday. IT specialists setting up networks, updating company software and hardware, and implementing data security systems. It is essential for IT specialists to have knowledge of a variety of topics like firewalls, antivirus, and various administrative tools.

Assisting with Data Center Operations.
Assisting with network administration including:
- Supporting Firewall and VPN.
- Supporting Network Switching and Wireless Access Points.
Providing end user support for IT related issues.
Performing Data Backup/Restore tasks.
Supporting Telecoms for the DIA and MPLS as well as the IP telephony management.
Installing new software and hardware components.
Troubleshoot Systems and Hardware issues.
Educating coworkers about best practices for computer usage.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Skills :

Working knowledge of personal computers and Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office to include as a minimum PowerPoint, Excel, and Word programs.
Knowledge of military or civilian maintenance systems, quality assurance and supervisory skills required.
Must possess a valid home country driver’s license and ability to obtain host nation driver’s license.
Will be required to operate material handling equipment.
Proficiency in the use of SRSC ERP systems.

Experience & Education:

Bachelor’s in information technology or a related field.
At least 3 to 5 years hands-on experience in enterprise IT infrastructure operations and service delivery.
knowledge of VMWare, Windows Server, and Network configuration.
Customer focused with strong customer service skills.
Problem solving skills.
IT technical support skills.
Multitasking and Time management skills.
Professional technical certifications are preferred (Microsoft, Cisco, VMWare, ITIL etc.).
